How to choose a radiator?

The final transaction price of the radiator is related to the specification, model, quantity, delivery method, and payment method of the selected radiator. One thing that users need to pay special attention to is that aluminum radiators are usually made of pure aluminum or 6063 alloy, both of which have good thermal conductivity compared to miscellaneous aluminum; Due to more than half of the cost of radiators being material costs, the price of miscellaneous aluminum is low; Therefore, for particularly cheap radiators, the loss of heat dissipation performance caused by the material should be considered when purchasing.

Firstly, determine the electronic components to dissipate heat, clarify their working parameters, working conditions, size, and installation method. Choose a base plate size of the heat sink that is slightly larger than the installation surface of the components. Due to the limitations of installation space, the heat sink mainly relies on convection with air to dissipate heat. If the heat sink exceeds the contact surface with the components, its heat dissipation effect decreases with the increase of distance from the components. For single rib radiators, if the required width of the radiator is missing in the table, you can choose to cut off a radiator that is twice or three times the width.
